HillCountry Doll Maker

Hillcountry Dollmaker creates Waldorf Dolls and Animals from natural materials for your child or you! Owner, Joyce uses natural wool stuffing from a small family mill, natural fabrics and natural fiber yarns to make her creations. She does a lot of custom orders but also has a lot of items that are ready to ship! Hillcountry Dollmaker also carries a Needle Felted section and playsilks. I particularly loved her leaf babies & baby blooms, and found out shortly after browsing her shop that this artist creates her beautiful work about an hour or so from me! So Texas friends, Go Local & support Joyce’s lovely work!

We were sent a lovely Baby Bloom! Ours has the beautiful pink-ish-purple Dahlia flowers 🙂
AND it came beautifully wrapped and ready to gift!

4 1/2″ Baby Bloom sprout is made using Waldorf doll making techniques of hand dyed cotton velour, stuffed with wool, embroidered features, wool felt petals and leaves. Comes with a pouch so the child can carry his/her new friend everywhere. Seed shaped pouch is 6″ tall, and made of hand dyed, shirred, cotton muslin. 27″ strap easily adjustable to fit your child. Your choice of details, skin tone, eye color. You may choose Juniper – the one with the spiky leaves and blue berries or Dahlia – the sprout with lavender or pink petals or the new Squash Blossom with a hand dyed silk blossom.

The boys have been spent much of their time playing with her and having her visit the garden! Currently, she is resting around my 7 year olds’ neck 😉
I thought the facebook meme said it perfectly:

Any of these are sure to brighten a child’s face & be the perfect gift for loved ones near or far!
